Tender nodule on left calf of a 48-year-old-male

Question 1:

A 48-year-old male presented with a three-month history of enlarging, tender, left calf nodule. The clinical workup of this lesion included an ultrasound that showed a well-defined, non-cystic subcutaneous nodule with mild to moderate blood flow.
