Question 1:
A 66-year-old male with a history of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), status post allogeneic hematogenous stem cell transplant, presented with firm, itchy, and painful skin lesions. The lesions were on the arms, legs, and abdomen and started about 2 years ago with rapid worsening on the legs in the past 3 months. Physical exam revealed ill-defined broad erythematous, brown to purple, reticulated firm plaques on the abdomen, flank, bilateral upper extremities, and lower legs. A biopsy from the abdomen was performed.
